We are regulated and registered to prescribe and administer Anti-Wrinkle Injections, also known as Botox.
There are only a handful of Botulinum Toxin A brands licensed for cosmetic use on the face in the UK. Inclusive of Botox, Bocouture, Azzalure and Xeomin. We can prescribe and source all of the available brands, and will give our recommendation on which is most suitable for you during our thorough medical consultation.
It is important that as a client you are in full knowledge of the product that is being prescribed and explained to you why one is preferred over another for you.
All of our Anti-Wrinkle treatments are consulted and prescribed by our Cosmetic Doctor.
We require a minimum of 48 hours for bookings, this allows time for us to prescribe your Toxin and delivery from the pharmacy.
As the Aesthetic industry remains unregulated we strongly suggest researching practitioners prior to undergoing any procedure, here are some tips on keeping you safe:
You should always meet face to face with your prescriber - Not all practitioners are able to prescribe, as Botulinum Toxin is a prescription only medication (POM), legally this must be prescribed to you, in your name by a registered Cosmetic Pharmacy. Always ask who your prescriber is and insist on a face to face consult.
Ask what product they are using and why - Your practitioner should clinically reason the brand they have chosen for you and why, it should also be one of the above named brands, anything other than these is not licenced for cosmetic use in the UK and may not have proof of being from a valid UK pharmacy. Therefore, not guaranteeing what the vial contains.
Ask to see the expiration date and LOT number on your prescription - Your practitioner should show you the vial and expiration date and LOT number on this prior to any procedure.
Reconstituting the product in front of you - You should see your practitioner open the new box and take out the vial of Toxin, you should also witness them reconstitute this, or mix it together with saline. If you do not see them make your toxin up for you, you cannot guarantee what the product is or how old it has been stored this way and if it has been stored at the correct temperature.
